Downloading the Files

To download mp3 files, you'll usually need a computer and an Internet connection, although some of the newer mp3 players (such as the iPod Touch) allow users to wirelessly access Internet subscription services.

You may also need to download peer-to-peer or subscription service software, such as eMule or iTunes.

Listening to the Files

To listen to the files, you'll either need a computer with speakers, a sound card and suitable software, or you can transfer the files onto a portable mp3 player.
